Sizing
the appropriate collector area and storage capacity for a residential
system is based primarily upon the hot water demand of the occupants.
This is assuming that for the most part, your location has met ideal requirements
for installation (See Solar
Water Heating – Installation & Maintenance). Systems are
typically rated for between 40-60% of the total water heating requirements
of the home. |
